Your work here really matters and has real impact.This role is prefect for a creative designer who is passionate about creating intuitive and innovative user experiences. You will be responsible for conceiving and conducting user research, interviews, and surveys, and translating them into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes. You will use your research to create exceptional visual design that will guide user through their online users experience which are optimized for usability.The successful candidate will show a passion for delivering adaptive and creative solutions to UI/UX design problems by staying up to date with best practices and emerging trends in user experience design and user interface technology.UI/UX Designer Responsibilities:Adhering to style standards on typography and graphic design.Working with and adapting established design systems to design new end-user experiences.Investigating design requirements for our web sites and web applications.Working as part of a team to develop and conceptualize a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy for our web sites.Providing advice and guidance on the implementation of UX research methodologies and testing activities to analyze and predict user behavior.Producing high-quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes.Testing UI elements, page designs, user flows, and web applications.Working knowledge of Information architecture.Creating high quality visual designs for page layouts and user interfaces for websites and web applications.UI/UX Designer Requirements:A bachelor's degree in graphic design, industrial design, visual design, computer science (focused on user interaction) or equivalent professional experience.A minimum of 2 years UI/UX design experience for digital products or services.A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms.Working knowledge of the following technologies and software: Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, InVision, Visio, HTML, CSS, iOS, Android, Design Systems, and Adobe Creative Suite.Basic knowledge of usability & 508 compliancy.A team player who can also work independently.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.Applicants selected will be subject to a Public Trust background security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to sensitive information.
