Responsibilities include: Have the ability to create polished, production-ready UI designs Possess the ability to conceptualize and communicate design ideas to stakeholders of all levels within an organization Close collaboration with Product Manager, Tech Lead, Engineers & QA team members to ensure alignment and accuracy of end deliverables Have the ability to create wireframes, user flows, visual design assets, and interactive prototypes/high fidelity mockups. Understand overall customer needs and ability to have a holistic view of design and user experience; ability to deliver on short-term needs that fit into long-term vision Be experienced with design sprints and the agile methodology Have the ability to actively and constantly collaborate with other employees including product owners, designers, web and mobile engineers, quality-assurance engineers, leadership, and more Why Join our Team? We're in the process of rapidly expanding the capabilities and functions of our app to capture even more market share, and we need high-quality, talented and driven individuals to come aboard and help make GoTu a Unicorn (Unicorn=Start-ups valued at $1 billion within five years of launch).
Qualifications Key Competencies: Bachelor degree in Graphic, Interaction, New Media or related Design field or comparable work experience - required 2+ years of experience designing digital products on a variety of platforms, including web and mobile (iOS and Android) - required Exceptional design skills, production value and a meticulous attention to art, detail and concepts to ensure highest quality of user experience and brand reputation Requires proficiency with Figma and/or other associated design tools Experience with user interface design patterns and standard UCD methodologies across multiple platforms A robust professional Portfolio highlighting multiple projects and your direct contributions A deep conceptual and tactical knowledge of UX industry standards, usability, trends in web design Results driven self-starter with a unique combination of technical knowledge, business acumen and strong general and emotional intelligence Additional considerations: Working understanding of the Staffing / Recruiting, PE and/or VC landscape High growth startup experience a plus Must be in Miami area or open to relocation.
