WHAT IS TUSK LOGISTICSTusk Logistics is a national network of regional parcel carriers, driving value for Shippers by reducing their dependence on legacy national parcel carriers like UPS and FedEx, and accelerating access to lower prices and faster deliveries. Tusk's technology is the first of its kind, unlocking capacity and savings from regional carriers with one, easy to integrate connection and proactive support that enables shippers to anticipate and solve their customers' delivery issues in near real time. Tusk's co-founders BenandAdam have deep industry experience, with long recent tenures at eCommerce shipping/logistics leaders like Shippo, ShipBob, and Google Shopping. Tusk has raised a pre-seed funding round in 2022 and is currently a team of four, based in Chicago. We are remote-friendly and spend at least two days a week working in-person as a team. THE ROLEAs a Sales Intern at Tusk, you'll play a critical role in shaping and executing Tusk's go-to-market strategy and problem solving for our shippers. This includes leading outbound efforts to potential Shipping customers, executing pitch conversations and performing analyses on Shipper data. You'll be excited to go deep to size the margin Tusk unlocks for each Shipper, and comfortable positioning Tusk to close each new account. You'll work closely with Operations and Engineering teams to inform Tusk's features, market position and revenue. You can expect to:Work in close collaboration with the Head of Go-to-Market, JakeLead cold outreach to high-quality prospectsOwn a portion of our current network analyses for prospective ShippersCollate feedback from outbound efforts, to inform Tusk features, product roadmapTroubleshoot Shipper questions by coordinating with internal and external teams as necessary
