Details of the offer

About our Office :At Paul M. Sandvick DDS & Associates, we believe that a minimally invasive approach works best. In other words, we only treat what is medically necessary and will not promote unneeded or excessive dental procedures. Our philosophy is based on the desire for patients to maintain healthy teeth into advanced age and realize a conservative approach is more beneficial in the long run.At our office, you will find doctors who are "physicians of the mouth," not tooth technicians who simply "drill and fill." Your life-long dental health is of the utmost importance to us.At your initial visit, our staff will assess your level of risk for tooth decay. The next step is to help you make the changes needed to reduce the factors leading to additional decay and help you manage any disease that may be an underlying factor in potential tooth loss.We believe that intercepting the causes of decay can be your most valuable asset in preventing serious dental issues down the line.Overview: As a Treatment Coordinator, you will serve as a vital link between the dental practice and patients, guiding them through and helping patients understand their proposed treatment. You will review treatment plans, discuss financial options, and coordinating appointments to ensure patients receive the care they need.
Responsibilities: Meet with patients to discuss treatment recommendations provided by the dentist. Explain proposed treatments, procedures, and associated benefits in clear and understandable terms. Address patient questions or concerns regarding dental procedures and outcomes. Collaborate with dentists and other dental professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals. Coordinate treatment sequences and timelines to optimize efficiency and patient convenience. Provide patients with detailed estimates of treatment costs and breakdowns of insurance coverage, copayments, and out-of-pocket expenses. Discuss available payment options, including financing plans, credit arrangements, and insurance coverage. Assist patients in understanding their financial responsibilities and making informed decisions about their treatment investments. Coordinate scheduling of appointments for various treatments, consultations, and follow-up visits. Work closely with front desk staff to ensure appointment availability and optimize the scheduling process. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans, consent forms, and financial agreements. Assist with insurance verification, claims processing, and billing as needed. Collaborate with dental office staff to ensure smooth operations and exceptional patient experiences. Qualifications: Previous experience in a dental office setting, preferably in a patient coordination or customer service role. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and treatment planning principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with patients. Proficiency in dental practice management software and Microsoft Office applications. Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy in recordkeeping and documentation. Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
