Responsibilities
• Support customers across the United States• Start-up of new equipment, customer training, troubleshooting, and equipment repair• Coordinate information between customer and Lantech• Quality control of equipment prior to shipment• Technical phone support
Requirements
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude• Comfortable working with people in troubleshooting and problem-solving• Proficiency in basic computer skills• Excellent communication and customer service skills• Experience in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems in industrial equipment• Experience with PLC logic development and troubleshooting• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.• 3-5 years of experience in field service or equipment maintenance• Proven experience in reading mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics preferred• Proven experience working with packaging equipment preferred• High school diploma or equivalent• Preferred technical schooling in electricity, electronics, or equipment maintenance for at least two years
