Details of the offer

Are you an experienced Construction Superintendent looking for an exciting new opportunity? We are seeking a motivated and skilled professional to take on a traveling role, leading the installation of active vehicle barriers, security fencing, personnel gates, bollards, underground electrical systems, concrete pads, and passive vehicle barrier equipment at access control points across the United States.
As our Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the physical construction of these security infrastructure projects, managing a small team of crew members on-site. Your primary duties will include:
- Coordinating with project managers, site representatives, and other stakeholders to execute work safely and minimize operational impacts.
- Interpreting design documents, specifications, and drawings to plan and execute the required tasks.
- Locating, measuring, and marking site locations for equipment foundations, posts, and structures, ensuring existing utilities and structures are protected.
- Communicating effectively with all parties involved to coordinate work and verify satisfactory completion.
- Training and monitoring workers on construction methods, equipment operation, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Developing material and equipment lists, and providing workload estimates for new installations and deficiencies.
- Reporting daily on equipment condition, work performed, and upcoming plans.
- Documenting each project, including compiling receipts, processing expenses, obtaining client approvals, updating as-built drawings, and preparing close-out documents.
To qualify for this role, you must possess a minimum of three years of experience as a construction supervisor, superintendent, or quality control manager, with at least five years of hands-on experience in excavation, reinforced concrete placement, and industrial fencing installation. Expertise in operating heavy equipment such as mini-excavators, backhoes, forklifts, and skid steers is highly desired.
Additional requirements include:
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and installation details.
- Valid driver's license and ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug tests for access to secure facilities.
- Physical capability to lift at least 50 pounds, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and have full use of hands, fingers, and arms.
This is a traveling role, with assignments typically lasting 2-3 weeks at a time at various locations throughout the US (approximately 90% travel). We offer a competitive compensation package, including an annual salary range of $90,000 - $100,000 based on experience, plus per diem. Benefits include a 401(k) match, healthcare, vision, dental, life insurance, profit-sharing bonuses, and more.
If you have an outstanding work ethic, a commitment to safety, excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills, and the ability to plan and execute quality work with minimal supervision, we want to hear from you! Join our team and play a crucial role in protecting critical infrastructure and securing facilities for our nation's military, government, and commercial clients.
To apply, please submit your resume and cover letter detailing your relevant experience and qualifications.
