Travel *Looking for Multi-specialty OR experience, especially in ORTHO & ROBOTICS New Rate - $80/hr (Effective 5.14.24) SHIFT- 3x 12 hr shifts- (0) No block scheduling (includes floating block) 4-6 call shifts within a 6-week schedule 30 minute call back response 4-6 weekend shifts within a 6-week schedule Weekend shifts could be day, evening, or night Holidays per department need *REQUIRED- *Level 1 Trauma experience *Previous traveler experience *Minimum 2 years OR experience *BLS required *Will care for Covid patients *Could float as needed *Epic experience preferred but not required RN Checklist *Do not submit local candidates to these travel positions. If candidate accepts the lower local rate, submit the profile which clearly notates candidate is local and aware local rates are lower. *As of 1/5/2022 all travelers must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. **Any traveler declining the COVID-19 vaccine, must be approved for a medical/religious exemption by their agency Jamie Zinn Kristin Houck Angela Uhler The Operating Room Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment and leadership in the anticipation and planning for the care of the patient in the operating room. As a member of the surgical team the RN works with the Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, ORT's and other personnel to provide patient care in the Operating Room according to State Nurse Practice Act, AORN and regulatory standards, physician orders, policies and procedures of the Hospital and the Surgical Department. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: ensuring supplies, timeliness of cases, communication with families, updating of physician preference cards, scrubbing and assisting physicians during surgical cases, and supervision of personnel delivering patient care.
