Travel RN – NICU
Length:

13 Weeks
Staff are required to work one extra shift every 3 weeks during periods of high census
Requirements :
NE License
At least level 3 experience but ideally level 4
BLS
NRP

Documentation system: EPIC
Traveler will be first to float and will float to the PICU, CCU and Med/Surg floors
Shift: Nights

Contract details: Contract requirement is three 12 hour shifts/week. Staff are required to work one extra shift every 3 weeks during periods of high census
Requirements: BLS and NRP
Level 4 NICU unit that has a variation of patients. Travelers that do best on this unit have at least level 3 experience but ideally level 4.
Will care for 23 weeks up to 1 year olds. When floated to other ICU units nurse will typically get assigned infants however when floated to Med/Surg unit nurse may get adolescents. Traveler will need to have experience with similar patient populations.
Highly surgical NICU unit.
First time travelers accepted
Traveler will be first to float and will float to the PICU, CCU and Med/Surg floors.
Common diagnoses consist of: PPHN, bowel perf or NEC, BPD, Tracheostomy/G-button evals, pre op cardiac anomalies, gastroschisis, hydrocephalus, and many more.
