Under general direction of the Senior Land Surveyor, this person will supervise professional and technical field staff performing land boundary, topographic, construction, and vertical and horizontal control surveys, while incorporating electronic measurement and automatic computations, recordation, and display techniques. This person will also perform a wide variety of difficult and complex professional surveying work.

Division of Engineering, Geomatics Branch/Field Surveys, West Sacramento Department of Water Resources (DWR) was established in 1956 by the California State Legislature. We manage California's water resources, systems, and infrastructure, including the State Water Project, in a responsible sustainable way.
