Transportation Aide

Transportation Aide If you have the education/certification, experience, and skill-set, coupled with a caring and compassionate heart, we invite you to express interest in this opportunity.
We seek a Certified Nursing Assistant in possession of a valid Alabama Driver's License, and a good driving record to transport patients and residents of Westside Terrace to and from area hospitals, other medical facilities, and external activities, as approved by the facility. Further responsible for transporting new admissions from hospitals if the Facility Van is an appropriate means for them. Responsibilities include record-keeping functions on trip records for billing purposes.
Additionally, the selected candidate will be an Activities Aide, assisting the department in providing appropriate, meaningful and fun activities for our patients and residents.
Will perform all other duties as assigned.
All positions require excellent interpersonal skills, and clear communication ability. We also require professional demeanor and discretion. Flexibility is essential, as we are a 24-hour/day operation.
