Our Transmission / Component Technician is primarily responsible for troubleshooting, rebuilding powertrain components, transmissions, torque converters, and axles for heavy equipment applications. Our Ideal Candidate: Basic mechanical knowledge including mechanical, electrical and hydraulics General knowledge of basic hand tools, air tools, precision measuring tools and instruments Understand crane hoist and rigging equipment (preferred) Preferred forklift experience Must be able to read and comprehend specifications, service and parts literature, technical bulletins and other related publications What will put you ahead: Experience working within the diesel mechanics industry (specifically with transmissions) Stable work history Caterpillar experience a plus Experience with handover notes (wrtitten or verbal) to other employees About Foley Equipment:
