Job summary
The Remittance Processor is responsible for processing daily document transactions.Tasks include extracting and inputting data, operating imaging/extraction equipment, and verifying negotiability of checks.Must maintain high production and accuracy levels.

Responsibilities
• Prepare batches of work by extracting checks and remittances from envelopes.• Input data into the system while following standard operating procedures and customer instructions.• Operate imaging/extraction equipment and validate image quality.• Verify negotiability of checks based on customer instructions.• Lift and move mail trays weighing up to 50 pounds.• Work in all areas/departments of production as needed and contribute to meeting team goals.• Make judgment calls for routine duties and refer non-routine situations to supervisor/manager.
Requirements
• Detail-oriented.• Good oral and written communication skills.• Ability to meet deadlines in a production environment.• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft applications.• Alpha/Numeric data entry and typing skills with excellent accuracy.• Must be a team player and maintain a positive attitude.
