As a Transactions Manager I in the  Subpoena Processing Department  you will handle all third-party legal requests. Within Subpoena Processing is a Specialty team of highly skilled individuals that work more complex matters of the highest level of privacy, security, and importance due to the nature of the subject(s) and/ or matter(s). This team works with various state and federal agencies, along with in house attorneys, to ensure the urgency of the matter, risk involved, and responsiveness of the request are all factored into the final production of documents. You will manage, coordinate, and direct the daily operations of the Specialty Team.
Job responsibilities: Interact with senior leaders, multiple internal legal departments and external requestors in an effective and professional manner Review highly sensitive cases, resolve complex issues, partner and create SLA's and procedures with various Line of Business, Global Securities Investigations, Government Investigation Regulatory & Enforcement and the Financial Crimes Unit. Responsible for shift operations, including personnel management, process delays, and resolving problems or obstacles to production and/or quality Utilize Change management to document new procedures and projects specific to the Specialty Team. Monitor daily inventory of work, set workflow priorities and maintain department SLA's  Responsible for tracking team performance and implementing action plans that drive improved performance and high quality with accountability and ownership Ensure that bank guidelines, policies, and procedures are followed as they relate to National Subpoena Processing, audit readiness, required training curriculum, and general management practices Conduct regular feedback and coaching sessions with team members to identify above and beyond accomplishments, obstacles to success, opportunities for improvement, and to ensure optimal performance by each individual on the team Required qualifications, skills and capabilities: :
Minimum 3 years of relevant law firm, financial institution or comparable experience Must be flexible, willing and able to adapt to rapid change Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects independently, follow tight deadlines, and prioritize work Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with senior business leaders and Chase Legal Teams.  Ability to positively collaborate with other departments, colleagues and external customers  Must be able to demonstrate sound leadership judgement; escalate any personnel, technology, or process concerns timely and appropriately Communication/presentation - excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to articulate in a meaningful and actionable manner Decision Making/Judgement - moderate level of independent decision-making using sound judgement Ability to understand the business  Has amazing communication and personal skills Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities: Paralegal certificate preferred Work schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
