Summary/Objective The Training Supervisor plays a vital role in driving the technical excellence and professional development of our technical team members. This is a working supervisor position that will be responsible for instructing in-person training classes, guiding the enhancement of training session and materials, and providing mentorship to the training team members. The Training Supervisor ensures that our team delivers exceptional service to our clients while continuously improving their technical capabilities.
Essential Functions

Evaluate trainer or trainee performance, provide coaching/mentorship, ensure alignment with company policies, identify performance gaps, and continue to track performance for desired improvements by conducting monthly or bi-monthly CPMs for team members. Host and attend team meetings as necessary to communicate with and motivate staff in order to foster a collaborative and supportive team environment focused on achieving departmental goals. Host and attend cross-functional meetings to communicate with management about trainer and trainee performance, existing training materials, and approval/research for new training. Take ownership of training schedules to ensure proper balancing, taking into consideration management of trainers' PTO requests and the internal business needs. Provide training/coaching to new trainees and existing BankOnIT staff on how to perform BankOnIT job roles, how to properly communicate with clients and technical staff, and any other subjects needed. Assist trainers in the development of curriculum and design of training courses, collaborating with internal business partners to create BankOnIT-specific content based on organizational requirements. Provide excellent customer service, adhering to company policies and procedures while setting the example of BankOnIT's Core Values for trainers and trainees. Provide training on how to solve problems or tackle new challenges. Perform related work as required. Competencies

This position has direct reports and supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, scanners, and copy machines.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, salaried position. Hours of work and days are typically Monday through Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
Periodic travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience
Advanced understanding of desktop operating systems, various software applications, and PC/Server/Network hardware. Advanced understanding of principles and theories of network systems and management. Advanced understanding of BankOnIT technologies and products. At least two years of technical work experience or equivalent education/certifications. Preferred Education and Experience
Three or more years of technical work experience. Two or more relevant technical certifications (e.g., A+, Network+ and Security+). Bachelor's (or higher) degree in computer science-related field. Other Duties
