The Training Specialist will w ork in partnership with the Global business to define learning solutions and lead the execution of agreed upon L&D projects with the ultimate aim of equipping employees with specific capabilities that enable them to add value and drive competitive advantage for the organization.
Partner with Site and Global L&D peer groups to design, deploy and manage global learning solutions.
Support the day-to-day administration of learning processes and systems, including strategy, reporting, developing, and delivering L&D programs for the site in partnership with Learning Supervisor, Learning Coordinators, and stakeholders from the site.
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career.  These responsibilities include some of the following:
Sustain and continuously improve a site L&D strategy that clearly defines capability priorities aligned to the business . Conduct learning needs assessment in collaboration with the business to clearly understand and define the capability gaps utilizing diagnostic processes such as GEMBA, role analysis, focus groups, interviews etc. Work with Business Subject Matter Experts (SME's) and stakeholders to agree target populations, craft precise learning objectives and clearly define the evaluation mechanisms and measures of success. Define the most effective learning mix (i.e. instructor led, e-Learning, blended learning, social learning) for the agreed target audience , applying the 70/20/10 principles and good instructional design within each learning project. Ensure learning & development solutions are developed and deployed using global frameworks, solutions Globally (across GSK). Coach & advise line managers and employees on the GL&D service offerings, capability standards & their effective application. Responsible for application of GSK safety and environmental guidelines and implementing EHS learning solutions. Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
Bachelor's Degree. Experience in cGMP pharmaceutical environment or related industry focused on quality systems, preferably in a training and development role. Experience leading 'development' initiatives i . e. training, coaching, learning initiatives, locally and globally. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree with specialization in Technical Writing, Process and System Development, Communication, Learning Concepts, Training/Presentation Skills, Continuous Improvement Knowledge Strong knowledge and experience of the end to end learning process i.e. learning needs assessment, program design & delivery and learning evaluation & assessment. Teamwork oriented and experience in team management and dynamics. Ability to lead cross-functional teams with coordination of activities across departments, building relationships quickly and credibly. Track record of project management skills and expertise across small to medium scale projects. Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Scope of work requires: Understanding of learning processes/systems and influencing others through teamwork and leader initiatives. Demonstrated working knowledge of regulatory requirements and guidelines. Demonstrated ability to create/adapt training packages for both GMP and non-GMP training. Ability to prioritize and the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities. #LI-GSK
