Responsibilities: The Training Specialist/Writer will support Barrow Wise's State of Maryland Department of General Services (DGS) project and perform the following duties:
Conduct the research necessary to develop and revise training courses and prepare appropriate training catalogs. Prepare all instructor materials (course outline, background material, and training aids) and student materials (course manuals, workbooks, handouts, completion certificates, and course critique forms). Train personnel by conducting formal classroom courses, workshops, and seminars. An ideal candidate has the following:
U.S. Citizenship Master's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Education/Training in the areas of computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or a related scientific or technical discipline. Minimum of four (3) years of experience in information systems development, training, or related fields. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in developing and providing IT and end-user training on computer hardware and application software.
