Training CoordinatorID:F65DCR13-001Location:WashingtonProgram:FORESTWage/Hr:$60.00Hours/Week:20Minimum Age:55This is a virtual position.Qualifications:Minimum of 20 year(s) of experience OR BA/BS Degree in Agriculture, natural resources, agronomy or related field of study.Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, Power PointDuties:The enrollee will coordinate with external partners and academic institutions and develop training resources and curriculum for the Forest Service.Fostering Forest Service partnerships through coordinating and liaising with academic institutions, professional organizations, and government personnel in the outdoor recreation community on issues related to training outdoor recreation staff.34%Identifying training and professional development opportunities and curriculum for outdoor recreation students, professionals, and staff in the Forest Service.34%Working with potential and existing partners to develop training programs and curriculum with the goal of strengthening agency workforce across all recreation programs, thereby enhancing Forest Service capacity.32%Other:Physical requirements: Sedentary office work.
