Essential Functions: Responsible for providing operational and administrative support to the Training Team in an organized and professional manner. Responsible for collaborating with internal stakeholders to provide administrative support for new hire orientation and conducting Our Promise virtual orientation sessions. Schedule trainings, distribute materials, and email communications. Maintain and proactively update the training department calendars. Generate and communicate reporting for agency training attendance, including CEU courses via the external platform CE Broker Monitor and respond to inquiries through the agency's training mailbox in a professional manner. Responsible for obtaining American Red Cross Instructor certification and facilitating monthly First Aid, CPR, and AED sessions at the Columbus office location. Responsible for appropriate set up of training areas, and the availability of adequate supplies. Also responsible for the maintenance of training equipment including manikins and other required materials. Maintain positive and professional presence as a member of the administrative staff of OhioGuidestone. Assist employees with questions and direct employees to the appropriate contacts within the agenc Maintain compliance with Iicensing requirements for training sessions presented. Maintains regular and reliable attendance. Maybe involved in the planning, organization, and implementation of special events or department specific projects or seasonal program changes. In times of need, employees may be asked to complete related duties other than those indicated above as assigned by their supervi Physical Requirements: Training Assistants must be able to perform and teach CPR and First Aid. This involves lifting manikins, bending, kneeling, and dexteri Must be free of communicable diseases when training. Qualifications: Requires a High School Diploma or 3 years of experience in office management Confidence in training facilitation. Travel: this role may require some travel to regional office in Columbus to conduct training Strong proofreading skills and ability to communicate professionally in written format. High degree of cultural sensitivity. Demonstrated computer proficiency: Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, Outlook, and Excel. Effective interpersonal skills; able to speak effectively with individuals and/or groups of people Ability to customarily and regularly exercise discretion and good professional judgment Strong organizational skills; able to handle multiple priorities with strict attention to detail and perform work independently. Ability to maintain confidentiality required. Ability to maintain relevant, timely documentation as required.
