We are seeking an experienced Trainee Accountan t to join their dynamic finance team. This role offers a mix of office and remote work, based primarily in Blanchardstown, Dublin 15 (3 days in the office, 2 days from home). Job Opportunity: Trainee Accountant
Location : Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, (Hybrid, 3 days office, 2 days home)
Salary : €40,000 - €50,000 per annum Key Responsibilities:
- Monthly Management Accounts: Prepare and improve accounts, including KPIs, for multiple companies.
- Reconciliations: Balance sheet reconciliations to Trial balance stage.
- Revenue Analysis: Reconcile revenue to expected outcomes.
- Project Assistance: Support the Finance Manager in improving and automating processes.
- Internal Audits: Ensure the security of residents' belongings and finances.
- Reporting: Prepare and present reports to senior management.
- Industry Knowledge: Obtain knowledge of the Nursing Home funding model, including the Fair Deal Scheme (training provided).
- External Liaison: Provide information to external auditors and liaise with bodies such as the HSE.
- Customer-Oriented Culture: Support front-line business needs and build relationships with administrators and management.
- Team Support: Provide cover for finance team colleagues.
- Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality, especially concerning resident information.
- Health and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations. Required Experience:
- Part Qualified Accountant: ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CIMA, with at least one year of industry experience.
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to connect with people and convert data into actionable insights.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and a naturally enquiring mindset.
- Work Ethic: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, striving for excellence.
- Attitude: Energetic, positive, and driven to promote continuous improvement and change.
- Innovative: Capable of navigating ambiguity, listening, challenging, and innovating.
- Self-Motivated: Curious, flexible, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- IT Proficiency: Strong skills, particularly in Excel.
- Driving Licence: Clean driving licence required for travel.
