Responsibilities
• Perform skilled and semiskilled work in trades such as carpentry, painting, and building maintenance• Adhere to all OSU and UHDS policies and procedures• Produce quality work at or above industry standard• Provide quality, courteous, and timely maintenance services• Maintain safe, secure, and sanitary living and dining facilities• Complete work orders and maintenance tasks• Conduct inspections and repairs• Assist with furniture moves and set-ups• Respond to emergency situations• Maintain tools and equipment
Requirements
• Three years of general building maintenance experience• Experience in carpentry, electrical, mechanical, painting, plumbing, and welding• Possibly requires licensure or certification in a specific trade area• Successful completion of criminal history check• Valid driver's license and successful completion of motor vehicle history check• Ability to work in various spaces with situational hazards• Ability to work in varying weather conditions• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds
