As a Tourism Advisor, your primary responsibility is to assist clients in planning and booking their travel arrangements while providing exceptional customer service and personalized recommendations. You will utilize your knowledge of various destinations, travel logistics, and industry trends to curate customized itineraries that meet the needs and preferences of each client. Responsibilities: Utilize destination expertise to recommend suitable travel destinations, attractions, and activities. Design customized travel itineraries including flights, accommodations, transportation, tours, and dining options. Make reservations for flights, hotels, rental cars, tours, and other travel-related services using booking systems. Provide ongoing support and assistance to clients throughout the planning process and during their travels. Identify opportunities to enhance clients' travel experiences through upselling or special packages. Maintain accurate records of client interactions, bookings, payments, and special requests. Keep clients informed about itinerary changes, flight delays, or cancellations. Handle any issues or emergencies that may arise during travel with professionalism and efficiency. Cultivate strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and industry partners to ensure smooth coordination and collaboration. Qualifications: Dedication to providing outstanding customer service and creating memorable travel experiences. Knowledge of popular travel destinations, attractions, cultural nuances, and travel logistics. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail, time management, and multitasking abilities. Demonstrated ability to identify sales opportunities and negotiate prices. Resourcefulness, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in computer systems, booking platforms, and travel management software. Must be able to work in the U.S. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in the travel industry is advantageous. Certification or training in travel and tourism management is beneficial. Working Conditions: Remote work. Flexible hours. Salary: Based on commission and performance $30,000 - $65,000
