A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A TOPSOIL SCREEN MACHINE OPERATOR As a Topsoil Screen Machine Operator, you feed and operate our topsoil screen and stacker belts, ensuring that the machinery is running efficiently and that the soil is screened accurately. At each job site, you set up and maintain the machine, adjusting settings and changing screens to produce different grades of soil. As necessary, you identify and address any issues that may arise during the screening process, such as clogs or equipment malfunctions.
In addition to operating the screening machine, you load and unload trucks with materials, working collaboratively with your team to complete tasks safely and efficiently. Your satisfaction comes from working with your hands and seeing the tangible results of your labor every day!
