Toolroom Technician 40 hours per weekGeneral PurposeResponsible for the repair and preventive maintenance of injection molds which are used in the manufacturing process to make plastic caps and closures.
Principle Accountabilities Perform minor repairs and preventive maintenance on injection molds. Read and interpret blueprints, design schematics, and CAD drawings. Set up machine tools such as drills, lathes, grinders, and milling machines. Changeover mold components in order to produce a different part from the same mold base. Troubleshoot and problem solve issues with injection molds.Support and adhere to all system procedures and company policies/procedures.Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Follow all safety regulations.Report all accidents or near misses. Adheres to all environmental and quality standards. Any other tasks that may be necessary to meet the production schedule in a safe and efficient manner.Position Differentiation by LevelLevel 1 - Pay Range: $26.00 - $29.00Education/Experience:
High school diploma or GED Minimum 2 years experience in tool and die in a manufacturing environmentKnowledge/Skills/Duties:
