Responsibilities
• Inspect finished tools and dies for accuracy, dimensions, and quality• Identify and troubleshoot issues during production• Perform routine and non-routine maintenance, repairs, and sharpening of tools and dies• Maintain accurate records of tool and die specifications• Possess good work habits and practice plant safety• Accurately and efficiently perform all job duties with a sense of urgency• Schedule work through both CNC and WEDM for maximum efficiency• Work with press room personnel for tool tryouts and part development• Adjust tooling as required• Maintenance on older production tooling
Requirements
• Repair all production equipment and plant equipment• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems during production• Observe company safety policies and maintain good housekeeping• Understanding of predictive, preventative maintenance concepts• Commitment to continuing education
