Job Description Build and maintain dies and fixtures using the latest technology to meet required customer specifications and ensure customer satisfaction. Produce a final product that meets Brunk's high-quality standards. Responsibilities:

Ensure accuracy and quality on all jobs. Possess a working knowledge of S.P.C. Operate and understand the use of hand tools, grinding machinery, milling machinery, drill presses, lathes, band saws, heat treating ovens, optical comparators, various measuring devices, and die hoists. Build, repair, maintain, troubleshoot, and debug progressive dies and new tooling. Perform mathematic and geometric functions and possess a mechanical aptitude. Read blueprints. Assist in press setup as required. Operate computer die maintenance program and other required computer processes. Knowledge of CNC and wire EDM processes. Cooperate with other employees in order to satisfy the job requirements. Possess tools of the trade. Follow all safety procedures and regulations. Maintain a tidy and clean workstation. Complete data entry activities in a timely and accurate manner Qualifications Good communication skills and team skills required to complete projects on time. Ability to analyze blueprints, determine materials required, and machines various pieces of material and components to make, modify, or repair tools, dies, etc. Understand the operation of computer and tool room equipment relative to their job responsibilities. The minimum educational requirements listed below may be substituted by relevant experience, learned competencies and/or certifications obtained throughout one's career.
Journeyman Certificate with 4 years of apprenticeship and two years of experience. High School Diploma or GED Equivalent. Work Environment/Physical Requirements: Work is in a manufacturing setting with noise and some grinding dust. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull 100 to 2500 lbs. using die carts. Must wear protective shoes, safety glasses, and shop coat and wear ear protection while working around loud noises.
