Responsibilities
• Install, service, and maintain low voltage cabling• Pull cables, rack and stack, and terminate copper• Clean fiber/copper and troubleshoot using test equipment• Follow Method of Procedure (MOP) / Change Method of Procedure (CMOP)• Operate Work ticket system and Fiber Infrastructure Management (FIM)• Set up testers, operate OTDR/OLTS, and calculate link budget• Operate Cableguy interface and troubleshoot links/optics• Conduct power distribution and cable management tasks• Coordinate with team members for project completion• Follow company procedures and OSHA regulations• Complete necessary documentation• Respond to emergency situations and escalate technical issues• Attend meetings and achieve performance targets• Suggest process improvements for efficiency and service quality
Requirements
• Associate degree or Certification in technology services/technical discipline• Minimum 3+ years' experience in low voltage cable infrastructure systems• Proven ability to install, terminate, and test cables• Industry and manufacturer-specific experience and/or certifications preferred• Working knowledge of industry standards and codes• Strong customer/service orientation with effective communication skills• Valid driver's license
