Job Summary: Under the direction of the Assistant Athletic Director for Ticket Operations, with additional direction from Assistant Ticket Directors, the Ticket Office Assistant - Intern responsibilities include:
- Assist in all aspects of ticket operations and customer service efforts using the Paciolan Ticketing System, Ballena, SeatGeek, eQuery, FEVO, Salesforce, and the SideArm Player Guest System.
- Act as the lead ticket office customer service representative in ATO Call Center. Responsible for answering inbound calls and the primary person for managing email correspondences for the general ATO email account. ( ).
- Work closely with student ticket representatives and Legends ticket sales team. Effectively communicate ATO information/initiatives and provide customer service support for ticketing issues by working directly with customers and helping student ticket office staff to find solutions on a daily basis.
- Responsible for working all home football games and a multitude of additional events as assigned. Assist in managing event-day ticket operations including ticket sales, will call, pass gate, scanner preparation and customer relations while supervising student ticket office staff.
- Assist in all aspects of ticketing for event preparation, which may involve working beyond regular business hours. Working extended hours day prior to home football games may be necessary.
- Responsible for opening and closing the ticket office on the daily basis.
- Other duties as assigned to support Wisconsin Athletics.
Responsibilities: Performs a variety of responsibilities that support different athletic programs. Education: Required
Bachelor's Degree

Qualifications: - Excellent public relations and customer service skills. Working with a wide variety of internal and external customers, including donors, season ticket-holders, the general public, university staff and students.
- Effective decision making and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and details efficiently, often with numerous interruptions.
- Well organized and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills is a must. Ability to compose professional well-written detailed emails to customers on a daily basis.
- Experience with proper cash handling, credit card security (PCI), and storage of valuable commodities like tickets and ticket stock.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software including word, excel and power point.
- Working knowledge of Big Ten and NCAA rules and regulations.
- Ability to work with a diverse group of people and establish effective working relationships with a multitude of athletic department employees.
- The ability to handle high pressure situations and meet deadlines while being courteous, following appropriate customer service standards to vendors, customers and co-workers.
- Experience with generally accepted ticketing procedures and knowledge of computerized ticketing software. Experience with Paciolan Ticketing Software preferred.
- Candidate should be passionate, optimistic and have a team-first attitude with to desire to build long lasting professional relationships.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:15am-4:45pm. Evening and weekend work as required by events.

Work Type: Full Time: 100%
It is anticipated this position requires work be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location.
Appointment Type, Duration: Terminal, 24 month appointment.
This position has the possibility to be extended or converted to an ongoing appointment based on need and/or funding

Salary: Minimum $17.50 HOURLY

Additional Information: JOB TERM: This is a 12-month position with a mutual option for a second 12-month term. This position cannot exceed 24 months.
