Responsibilities
• Evaluate, plan, direct, and administer individualized therapeutic treatment programs• Write evaluations, progress notes/reports, discharge summaries, and maintain patient files• Counsel patients and/or family members regarding Rehabilitation diagnosis, plan of care, and prognosis• Maintain current knowledge of regulatory/legislative policies as they apply to the profession of Occupational Therapy and adhere to same
Requirements
• Graduate of accredited Occupational Therapy Program• Current NJ State License in Occupational Therapy• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required at time of hire or within first 3 months of hire• FIM (Functional Independence Measurement) certification to be taken following employment and training at Wayne, then certification must be taken through the rehab program (Uniform Data System for Medical Rehab-UDSmr)• For EIP (Early Intervention Program employees only: Valid driver's license required and ability to comply with Qualifications to Drive a System Vehicle as well as all policies as outlined in the SJH Fleet Management & Safety Program• All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or protected veteran status
