Responsibilities Foundations Behavioral Health is currently hiring full-time Therapists with experience working with children and adolescents, aged 5 to 21, who are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other neurodiversities as a member of our Clinical Services Department within the inpatient hospital and/or residential programs located on our Doylestown campus.  This is an onsite position in Doylestown, PA.
This position qualifies for our $4,000 sign-on bonus!  Foundations Behavioral Health provides innovative behavioral health treatment and academic excellence to children, adolescents and young adults, many of whom have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder or other neurodiversities. Established in 1964, Foundations Behavioral Health provides treatment in a homelike environment located on a 12 acre campus in Bucks County, PA. Foundations provides a full continuum of care for children, adolescents, and young adults spanning hospitalization to outpatient and academic services.
Position Responsibilities:  The ideal candidate will possess experience in working with children and adolescents with autism or other neurodiversities; have experience and/or training in Applied Behavior Analysis and trauma-informed care, or an interest in actively developing these clinical skills; exhibit professionalism and excellent customer service skills when interacting with youth, families, outside agencies, and colleagues. Provide therapeutic services utilizing behavior based interventions to children and adolescents utilizing individual, family, and group modalities. Perform biopsychosocial and behavioral assessments that result in a broad picture of treatment needs, and aid in the development and implementation of a multidisciplinary treatment plan that results in positive outcomes for patients. Work collaboratively with youth and their families to effectively address positive behavior changes. Develop a discharge plan with the child and family that includes aftercare services in the community that can provide continued support to the child and family post-discharge. Qualifications Qualifications Master's Degree in Human Services field from accredited college or university Completion of a supervised clinical experience, preferably as part of the degree program, comprising a minimum of 200 hours. Two years' experience with child/adolescent mental health clients in an inpatient or residential setting preferred, but not required. Proficient with a computer and the required software programs as applicable to the job functions, including electronic mail, word processing, excel, and various databases Willingness to learn the hospital documentation standards Capable of performing written or typed record keeping and correspondence as it relates to job functions. Capable of rapport building with youth and their families to facilitate their engagement in the therapeutic services. Familiarity with generally accepted concepts, techniques and procedures of evaluation and psychotherapeutic treatment.
