Job summary
This position plans and implements an instructional program and provides related educational services for students in grades K-5.Manages student behavior, assesses and evaluates student achievement, and modifies instructional activities as required.Serves as a general education, elementary classroom teacher.

Responsibilities
• Plan and implement an instructional program for students in grades K-5.• Provide related educational services for students.• Manage student behavior and ensure a positive learning environment.• Assess and evaluate student achievement.• Modify instructional activities as required.• Carry out student monitoring and control activities.• Perform any related duties as assigned.• Collaborate with other teachers in team or departmental settings.• Possibly work independently in a unique teaching specialty.• May be assigned to reading or technology labs.
Requirements
• Ability to work in person and physically report for work on site.• Experience as a general education, elementary classroom teacher.• Knowledge of instructional planning and implementation.• Proficiency in student behavior management.• Ability to assess and evaluate student achievement.• Flexibility to modify instructional activities as required.• Ability to collaborate with other teachers.• Possibly have experience in a unique teaching specialty.• Possibly have experience in reading or technology labs.• Full-time availability for 195 days.
