Test Engineer

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
Comtech Systems, Inc (CSI) is looking for Test Engineer candidates who will perform RF tests on satellite system components, sub-assemblies, and assemblies. Candidates will be expected to work with a spirit of cooperation and must exhibit a tenacious work ethic while possessing the drive and critical thinking to excel in potentially tumultuous conditions.
* Must have an active, current Secret Clearance.

PRIMARY DUTIES:
All candidates will perform the following duties:
* Create test plans, test cases, and test procedures to validate/verify performance.* Conduct functional, regression, and acceptance tests.* Create automated tools to characterize system performance and verify functionality.* Validate automated tools quality assurance and maintain proper version control.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
All candidates will have the following minimum skills:
* Four (4) years of recent specialized experience in engineering and testing integration.* Have basic Government Computer (GC) connectivity troubleshooting skills.* Have network troubleshooting skills and knowledge of networks.* Have technical documentation skills.* Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally with diverse audiences, internally and externally to foster strong teamwork.* Work well independently or as a member of a team environment* Detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
* Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
* Certified Engineer
