Responsibilities
• Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive test automation strategy and services for non-functional testing• Enable engineering teams to create and execute automated data management tests• Enable the design and execution of API testing• Foster a collaborative environment with development, operations, and business teams• Analyze test results and lead the process of issue identification and resolution• Champion the adoption of new testing tools and methodologies• Lead reusable testing service to support engineering teams• Mentor and develop teams in test automation best practices• Ensure effective development and maintenance of test automation frameworks• Oversee creation and management of test data sets and environments• Enable integration of automated regression testing processes into CI/CD pipelines• Ensure adherence to security testing best practices• Lead continuous evaluation and improvement of the test automation strategy
Requirements
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities• Effective communication and interpersonal skills• Robust project management skills• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field• Extensive knowledge of non-functional testing practices and principles• Deep understanding of data management and data integrity testing approaches• Proficiency in API testing techniques and tools• At least 5 years of experience in test automation• Experience with a variety of test automation frameworks and tools• Solid experience with CI/CD practices and tools• Proven experience in programming and scripting languages relevant to test automation• Expert-level skills in developing and managing automated testing solutions• Advanced SQL/NOSQL knowledge and experience with complex database and data lake testing• Strong ability to identify technical issues and provide strategic solutions• Mastery of version control systems and best practices in code management• Exceptional negotiation and influencing skills• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams• Strong strategic vision for the test automation landscape• Proven competence in managing resources, timelines, and deliverables
