Job Description We are currently seeking a full-time Territory Seed Sales Manager to provide our customers with the best sales experience possible. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of five years of sales experience, strong multi-tasking abilities, and the capacity to learn quickly. Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft CRM, and the ability to work independently are essential. The ideal candidate will contribute to departmental and company development and be able to recognize, initiate, and lead improvement activities. This position requires considerable initiative, judgment, tact, and discretion.
Collaborate with the President and General Manager to set directions and sales goals for marketing activities. Meet established sales goals. Execute marketing activities, follow up with established customers, and contact potential new customers. Maintain CRM software and document interactions with leads and customers. Compose follow-up correspondence and emails with customers and prospects. Answer incoming phone calls and email inquiries. Sell, provide quotations, prepare and submit bids, complete RFQs, generate, and follow up on quotes and orders. Oversee paperwork for international or domestic shipments. Travel to, set up, exhibit, and sell at trade shows or conferences, including international travel, with a minimum of 10% travel required. Prepare reports detailing significant events during travel. Attend local meetings and conferences as requested. Visit and sell to key accounts and prospective customers. Maintain overall sales margin on all sales. Maintain scheduled email correspondence and telephone contact with your customer base. Handle some purchasing and generate purchase orders. Know all functions of software applications related to your job. Participate in continuous improvement efforts. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Qualifications and Skills: College degree in agronomy, horticulture, botany, or a related science preferred. Minimum of 5 years of work experience in sales. Excellent planning, organizational, deductive reasoning, and multi-tasking skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills, including maintaining confidentiality. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, CRM, and general computer skills. Ability to consistently produce high-quality work. Capable of working as part of a team as well as independently. Salary: $65,000 - $85,000
