Pay: $17.36 per hour.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Extended hours required during high volume periods.

Assists with detail oriented election logistics tasks including readiness testing of voting equipment, preparation of election supplies, Election Official training, technical support for polling places during elections, and other election related activities. Work requires attention to detail and a great deal accuracy in repetitive work.
Readiness testing of voting equipment and election supply preparation
Proofreads election related reports and notices Assists with logic and accuracy testing of election database Tests election equipment for proper function prior to use in elections Prepares election equipment for distribution and use according to prepared checklists Assists in conducting Election Official training
Prepares information packets for election official training classes Delivers, sets up and breaks down training materials and equipment Evaluate election workers skill sets and readiness levels during training classes Aids in technical and logistical support of polling places during elections
Assists with delivery of additional supplies and equipment when needed during elections Provides telephone support for election workers during elections Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, or student in good standing. Valid Kansas driver's license. Must be free of Federal or State felony conviction as well as any misdemeanors relating to breach of trust, fraud, embezzlement, or dishonesty in carrying out a responsibility involving public trust.
Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Six months of reliable work experience. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel).
