Telecommunications Construction Project Manager

About the role: CBRE is looking for a highly motivated Construction Project Manager passionate about network infrastructure and security! You will demonstrate your experience and technical expertise to lead complex projects with numerous cross-function teams.

What you'll do: Act as the primary liaison to network infrastructure/security related owner partner Perform site walks on a recurring basis to monitor job progress Work with client partners to assess their needs and expectations for network deployment Facilitate Security and fiber / telecommunication kickoff meetings working with GC Scope development and RFP issuance for all fiber/telecom infrastructure installation. Manage owner furnished contractor installed procurement - Bill of material review and RFQ Issuance Initiate PFRs and funding for NICon projects Run internal messaging application to update internal workflow Owner of Furnished Material Management Review fiber routing and assure conveyance (tray) systems are in place and allow for proper rack layout access. Schedule review to ensure milestones on CLSD (building handover) checklist are adhered to as well as ensuring structured fiber is complete according to schedules. Updating site level progress tracker and partner portal requests to ensure they are in the right stage Distributing Fiber Blueprints - Cutsheets and Fiber Scopes Manage contractors to ensure milestones are being met Lead change management, risk management, budget management, schedule and cashflow reporting for cluster ( DC Floor fiber backbone network) build Complete project closure actions Monitor site-level productivity and efficiency on a regular basis including safety and quality
