Job Title: Telco Consulting Architect Duration: Full Time Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid) Job Description: Position Overview: As a Telco Consulting Architect, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing telecommunications solutions for our clients. You will work closely with clients to understand their business needs, develop tailored strategies, and lead the execution of complex projects. This role requires a deep understanding of telecom networks, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with clients to assess their current telecommunications infrastructure and identify opportunities for improvement. Design and architect comprehensive telecom solutions that align with clients' business goals and technical requirements. Lead the implementation of telecom projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring successful execution of architectural designs. Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in telecommunications technology to inform solution development. Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses for proposed solutions. Develop detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, implementation plans, and operational guidelines. Foster strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and point of contact for all architectural matters. Support pre-sales activities by providing technical expertise and contributing to proposal development. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. Minimum of 7 years of experience in telecommunications architecture, consulting, or a related field. Proven track record of successfully designing and implementing telecom solutions for large-scale projects. In-depth knowledge of telecom technologies, including 5G, IoT, SDN/NFV, cloud computing, and network security. Strong understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements in the telecommunications sector. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and analytically. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and internal teams. Experience with project management methodologies and tools. Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, ITIL, Cisco, Juniper) are a plus.
