Edgerton Contractors, a construction, and excavation company that specializes in earthwork, underground utilities, and design assist projects is hiring a highly organized and detail-oriented person to fill the role of Technology Support Engineer .

Edgerton is seeking to grow its technology department by adding a new team member who is passionate about both developing and implementing cutting-edge software solutions and supporting our existing IT Systems and Infrastructure. This role will report to the Director of Technology and will have input in and lead initiatives to better support and serve our end users.
Duties/Responsibilities: Supports existing IT Systems and Infrastructure by troubleshooting and prioritizing end-user issues Reviews and maintains the IT systems that provide business continuity (disaster recovery plans, data backups, failover policies, etc.) Assists in managing systems and processes that secure IT systems, networks, and enterprise information Assists with IT security audits or investigations Partners with external IT vendors and service providers Assists with life-cycle management of end user resources including procurement, provisioning, maintenance and retirement of laptops, phones, tablets, etc. Works with management to design, develop, implement, and support new software features for key line-of-business applications Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent analytical skills Desire to find creative solutions to complex problems Knowledge of latest technology for IT systems and management Experience in full-stack web development with the following technologies/languages, preferred: NET Core, C# SQL JavaScript (Angular or React), Typescript Experience with software versioning tools (Git), preferred Experience with Azure Cloud and Azure DevOps, preferred Experience implementing unit testing suites for full-stack applications, preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field OR equivalent experience * Must be able to travel regionally as needed (Milwaukee, Madison)
