Job summary
Weston & Sampson Services is looking for a Pump Station Technician.This position requires travel in the area north of Worcester.Responsibilities include operations and maintenance of treatment plants and pump stations.

Responsibilities
• Perform daily inspection, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment at wastewater and water treatment plants and pump stations.• Responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of treatment plants and pump stations within the service area.• Travel to different locations for work.• Participate in on-call rotation and occasional overtime, holidays, weekends, and nights.
Requirements
• Must be able to climb ladders and lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds.• Must have a valid driver's license.• A high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of one year of mechanical experience are required.• Must have good written and verbal communication, customer service, problem solving, and organizational skills.• Ability to obtain a wastewater treatment and/or water treatment operator's license within 1 year of employment is preferred.• Full-time position may require various shifts and/or flexible hours.
