Salary: $1,126 -$1,477 Biweekly
* Although the minimum - midpoint salary range for this position is provided, appointments are typically made at or near the minimum range.

ATTENDANCE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION ARE AS FOLLOWS: Non rotating 40 hour work week, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Must be available to work additional hours as needed.
Responsibilities
Responsible for procurement and accounts payable responsibilities for Street Operations; research Financial program to answer simple to complex questions from staff or vendors such as invoice detail and payment history. Prepare and send out to vendors requests for proposal for materials and equipment. Procure and maintain inventory of office and janitorial supplies. Maintain paper and electronic filing system for department records. Responsible for monthly material inventory report and invoicing City departments for material used and labor hours per work project. Data entry of work orders into Maximo and/or PAVER program. Provide administrative support to staff in processing personnel paperwork; FMLA, first report of injury, form 12 and all related forms pertaining to employee issues. Respond to questions pertaining to employment, payroll, benefits, leave, and workers compensation from staff and employees. Provide excellent customer service to both internal/external customers. May be asked to perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Position requires six months to one year of advanced study or training past the high school or GED plus two (2) years of related experience. A combination of education and pertinent experience may be considered. Previous experience in office setting preferred. Must be dependable, highly organized, and must possess maturity, discretion, enthusiasm and a positive attitude. Good oral and written communications skills required. Self-starter who can work independently and is skilled in establishing priorities and managing workload preferred. A valid driver's license is required. Successful out of state candidates must be able to attain a valid Texas driver's license within 90 days of hire.
