Mileage will be reimbursed. Project Description: Reporting to the IT Operations Manager, the PC Technician will setup, configure, troubleshoot, document and install client hardware and software. The PC Technician works directly with end users to place equipment and provide basic training while also serving as Help Desk backup. Set up equipment and install new and upgraded hardware and software. Assist users with problems or questions relating to computer hardware and software. Troubleshoot software/hardware issues to find root cause of problem. Prepare/Update training materials and documentation for departmental and internal MIS systems. Conduct training of computer users regarding the operation of computer hardware and software. Maintains records of the client s computer/software inventory. Assist testing of new hardware and software products and enhancements. Maintain a reasonable level of knowledge of all client s systems. Demonstrated reliability in attendance and flexibility to work hours. Maintain regular and predictable attendance, work overtime/extra hours as required. Education/Certifications/Experience Requirements: Actively working towards an Associate or Bachelor's degree in an IT related field. Top Skills & (1 to 3 years experiences in the following skills) Years of Experience: Set up equipment and install new and upgraded hardware and software. Nice to Have: Ability to operate a variety of office equipment including personal computer, printer, copier, calculator, telephone, etc. Ability to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally, understanding and utilizing proper body mechanics.
