CONTRACT - CONTRACT TO HIRE - W2 ONLY - NO CORP TO CORP - NO VISA TRANSFER

Technical Team Lead will be a creative and forward-looking software engineer, focused on solution design, development and implementation. As a key member of the team, the technical lead will work with our business partners, our team members, architecture and security, to understand business roadmaps and help build out a technical path to help them reach their goals. This is a terrific opportunity if you enjoy exploring multiple technologies and working with a close-knit, supportive team.

Responsibilities:
Demonstrate robust technical knowledge, working with architecture, security and our team to develop and deploy solutions that align with our application development framework.
Be involved in all aspects of system design and ownership

from analysis, systems design and coding

to documentation and continuous improvement.
Demonstrate strong project management and leadership abilities.
Work with diverse business teams, providing highly technical consulting and leadership in identifying and implementing new uses of information technologies which assist the functional business units in meeting their strategic objectives.
Continually look for opportunities to improve processes and productivity
Recommend, and provide guidance, in the area of application performance and tuning
Works closely with our system analyst and our business partners to identify and specify complex requirements and processes for diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies, tools, etc.

Must have experience working in Property & Casualty Insurance

Qualifications:

Ability to easily work on and move between multiple projects at any given time.
Technical team lead experience on and offshore
Requires excellent communication skills, analytic ability, strong judgment and the ability to work directly with customers and IT management and staff.
Requires in depth knowledge of customer areas functions and systems, and application development technological alternatives.
Strong interpersonal communication skills.
College degree Computer Science, or other related field preferred.
7+ years of experience in application development.
C#, VB .NET, ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, XML, MVC, Angular and SQL Server required.
JavaScript, AJAX, Jquery, and Bootstrap preferred.
