Job Summary The Technical Support Specialist position is responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting to Compass Group associates remotely and in person. As a member of the User Support Services team, the Technical Support Specialist is charged with support of user access, hardware, peripherals and applications. 
*Bi-lingual candidates are highly preferred for this role
Job Responsibilities Provide technical troubleshooting and user support via phone, ticket, chat and deskside to resolve desktop, laptop, mobile device operational and connectivity problems. Assist with setup, configuration, and support of desktops, laptops, smartphones & tablet technologies in assigned office.  Liaison with support and engineering teams to enable support of LAN/WAN, server hardware, and business applications specific to the office.  Ensure timely installation / support of hardware covering standard desktop and laptop hardware models. Perform other duties as required. Job Qualifications 1-3 years of progressive experience in end-user computing support and desktop support, preferably in a corporate environment B.S. Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or certificate from accredited technical school is preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Apple operating systems, Internet browsers Experience installing and supporting PCs, printers, peripherals, routers, etc. Must have strong communication and documentation skills. Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills. Analytical and problem-solving skills Detail-oriented and thorough with assignments
