Nexeo HR is looking for an experienced Technical Maintenance Mechanic. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a food production environment and have a working knowledge of vertical form-filling machines (VFF), hydraulics systems, and troubleshooting general machinery. Responsibilities • Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of machinery and systems utilized in food production, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Oversee production lines, ensuring all machines operate efficiently and smoothly.
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of pouch-filling machines, cappers, labelers, and both pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Conduct regular preventative maintenance and service checks on machinery to ensure proper functionality and identify potential issues.
• Accurately document any issues encountered and adjustments made to equipment for future reference and continuous improvement.
Qualifications • Must have 3 years of prior maintenance mechanic experience.
• Must have 2 years of post-secondary education or industry certification in HVAC, PLC Programming, or Electronics.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand & bend most of the shift.
• Ability to read and interpret building drawings and diagrams.
• Respiratory protection certifiable, is required.
Pay $20.00 - $30.00 Per Hour
Schedule Day shift | 7:00am - 3:00pm
