Technical Lead- Aero Repair Cell

The San Antonio Service Center is seeking a Technical Lead- Aero Repair Cell who will perform in several capacities at a high level. The Technical Lead will possess the experience and knowledge that is vital to perform training and production.

Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to, the following:

Exhibit a knowledge of repair processes, ensure necessary repairs are being performed per Engineering plans.
Generate routers and Special Repair Instructions (SRI) to support on-going repairs. Consult with engineering on technical questions.
Able to communicate clearly to team members daily tasks and goals.
Ensure scheduled work is supporting customer deliveries.
Be courteous and customer focused.
Ensure hourly workers are working the necessary hours including overtime to support deliveries and production. Direct hourly workers production tasks daily.
Attend and report-out job status at production meetings. Be able to adjust production to meet deliveries.
Ensure Materials and supplies levels are maintained to support production requirements for parts in repair.
Ensure equipment in area is well maintained and in working order.
Work with other production cells to ensure deliveries are supported.
Ensure direct hourly workers are charging correctly and jobs are being worked in accordance with standard repair times.
Be able to motivate team members to harness their potential and work harder for the execution of projects.
Be able to work in a flexible environment performing in other work areas as required.
Requirements Preferred candidate will have 2-5 years of experience working in a part repair environment.
First shift position (7:00am -4:00pm).
