Summary:
As a Technical Instructor, you will play a pivotal role in developing and conducting training programs aligned with our learning and development strategy. Your expertise will support the continuous skill enhancement of our diverse workforce. This position involves creating both technical and non-technical curriculum to empower our employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Represent our values by projecting a professional image that instills confidence in our customers and team members.
Generate performance reports for internal students based on written and practical exams.
Collaborate closely with various departments to develop e-learning content and technical procedures.
Develop engaging video scripts and voiceover content to support our e-learning initiatives.
Utilize adult learning techniques to ensure effective knowledge transfer to both internal and external students.
Deliver classroom and shop floor instruction to customers, distributors, and team members following established curriculum.
Mentor and coach team members participating in development programs.
Conduct training programs for different departments to address organizational needs.
Develop new curriculum using instructional design models.
Stay updated on new machine developments to anticipate future training needs.
Utilize online platforms for remote training sessions.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in electronics, hydraulics, or related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of ten years of related experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic principles.
Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and demands.
Domestic and international travel may be required.
Skills and Competencies:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and adaptively in a team environment.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
This position may require occasional lifting and moving of up to 50 pounds.
Normal office hours apply, with occasional overtime as needed.
Exposure to various environmental conditions including outdoor weather and loud noise levels.
Certifications: A valid driver's license is required. ATD (Association for Talent Development) Training & Facilitation certificate preferred but not required.
