Provide system/software engineering support to U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) Software Engineering Center (SEC), IEW&S Directorate Sensors and Mission Division (SMED) to maintain mission continuity, provide a world-class sustainment workforce focused on current and future Warfighter requirements, provide software solutions and services for present and future customers, and maintain Army field readiness with Post-Production Software Support (PPSS) and Post Deployment Software Support (PDSS).
This support is for the following systems:
Biometric Automated Toolset Army (BAT-A) Distributed Common Ground System-Army (DCGS-A) OGS SIPR Enhanced Medium Altitude Reconnaissance and Surveillance System (EMARSS) Guardrail Common Sensor (GRCS) Husky Mounted Detection System Long-Range Advanced Scout Surveillance System (LRAS3) Second Generation Forward Looking Infrared (SGF) Small Tactical Radar Lightweight (STARLite) HOW A TECHNICAL EDITOR SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT Writes technical specifications, reports, brochures, and/or manuals for internal documentation, customer reference or publications Analyzes technical literature available, writes descriptive copy, and verifies documentation Proven capability in reviewing customer drawings and data and translate customer language into standard procedures and product flow Proven capability to edit, write, and/or rewrite technical articles, publications, presentations, and other materials to communicate clearly and effectively on research findings, technical developments, and other information to a wide range of external audiences. Adept in exercising quality control over documentation intended for external distribution. Devises and applies testing procedures for parts or sub-assemblies received from outside vendors. The likely salary range for this position is $69,722 - $116,438. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Scheduled Weekly Hours:
