Your Role: Technical Development Scientist – Process Development As the Technical Development Scientist – Process Development, you will play a pivotal role in advancing new product licensing efforts within the Vaccine Technical Development group. In this role, you'll collaborate with various functions, including Analytical Development, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Clinical, Regulatory Affairs, to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Your Responsibilities: Assist in the design and execution of studies involving bacterial fermentation, mammalian cell culture, virus propagation, downstream processing, formulation, and filling.
Contribute to study designs and interpretation of results.
Effectively communicate study results.
Draft technical plans and reports related to project work.
Sourcing, installation, and operation of new technologies related to process development.
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications): Education and Experience: A Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Immunology, Engineering, or similar field with a minimum of 1 year of related experience, or a Master's degree.
Laboratory experience
Excellent communication skills
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications): Working knowledge of Design Of Experiments.
Experience with JMP software.
Familiarity with engineering upscale, downscale, and process modeling.
Good understanding of the relevant regulations for animal health vaccine development and licensing.
Additional Information: Travel: Domestic & International Travel may be required (10%)
