As a T ech Appl Analyst III , you will work with clients to analyze their business needs and be responsible for the successful development and deployment of supportable solutions.  The ability to perform a deep technical analysis along with translating that information back to non-technical individuals is critical.
The ability to learn and create innovative data solutions is essential.  The ideal candidate loves to solve problems on their own and with a team.  Given the importance of data and its security, data accuracy and attention to detail are a must.  The following competencies are expected:
Analytical Skills: Must be capable of determining a client's underlying business need and translating it to technical specifications for development. Our clients are not developers, so effective technical and non-technical communication during this analysis is critical. Problem Solving: Must be able to identify when collaboration with other business units, functional areas and vendors is required. Researching, testing potential solutions, and developing a customized product that meets a client's needs is critical to the success of their business, and ours. Technical Expertise: The ability to work with data and data related tools to achieve a desired result is essential. Reporting, integration, and data shaping expertise is a must.  Examples include EIM/WIM, Dell Boomi, Splunk, or other business intelligence tools. Familiarity with scripting, programming languages, or API communication is beneficial (e.g. PowerShell, Java/Groovy, C#, Postman, etc.) Functional Knowledge: Prior experience working with a Time and Labor product is required. Knowledge of timecard, scheduling, accrual, pay, and other concepts is expected. Communication Skills: Our internal and external clients have varying levels of technical ability so adjusting to their conversation level and skillset is paramount. You may be working with a frontline representative, a payroll practitioner, or an executive.  The method of delivering your message and the medium used must be adapted to the audience for it to be successfully received. Presentation Skills: Frequent interactions with your clients via WebEx meetings to provide updates, training and to work through issues is a must for this position. Required Qualifications: Degree or Equivalent in Education – Experience, Major area of concentration in Computer Sciences, HRIS, Business Administration. 2+ Years of eTIME/WFC or ADP Workforce Manager experience. Preferred Qualifications:  Preference will be given to candidates who have the following Scripting and programming experience using JavaScript, Java, SQL, PowerShell, C#, or other leading languages. Report development experience with Visual Studio (RDLC Designer), BIRT, Power BI, Crystal Reports, or other leading reporting tool applications. Time and Attendance application experience with ADP Workforce Manager, ADP Time and Attendance, Enterprise eTIME, Workforce Central, Workforce Dimensions or other HCM Time application. Business Acumen — applies technology to key processes driving client satisfaction and increased business opportunity. Leadership Skills — executes initiatives focused on desired outcomes. Seeks collaborative working relationships. Establishes deep network outside the company including technology and third-party resources. Liaison with internal and external partners. Analytical Thinking — applies data to problem solving, builds information and knowledge-based facts. Uses analytical techniques to clarify ambiguous situations and uses these techniques to forecast and improve business performance. Strong technical aptitude commensurate with application(s) supported. Mentoring, coaching, and training other team members. Project Management and Problem Resolution Skills. Ability to handle multiple changing priorities while maintaining order and progress. Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions.
