Position Summary: As a Technical Sales Manager, you'll be an integral part of our Seating Management Team, responsible for representing and promoting the TACO Seating brand across various sales channels. Reporting directly to the Facility General Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in strategic decision-making and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities: Represent TACO Seating with professionalism, positively influencing customer perceptions. Proactively identify and cultivate new business opportunities through research, networking, and relationship building. Assist with new business development, including documenting customer expectations, pricing processes, and following up on quotations. Serve as the primary point of contact for customer-related concerns, ensuring prompt resolution. Conduct key account reviews, build client relationships, and deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations. Utilize technical knowledge to explain product specifications and provide regular reports on sales activities. Participate in trade shows and industry functions to enhance knowledge and expand customer relationships. Oversee product installations and perform additional responsibilities as assigned. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 3-5 years of related experience, preferably in sales or customer service within the marine industry. Technical sales background in manufacturing, with upholstery experience preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficiency in computer skills, including ERP systems, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills. Outstanding project management and time management skills.
