Job Description and Duties Under the supervision of a Supervisor of Academic Instruction, and under the direction of a credentialed academic teacher, the Teaching Assistant shall give support to teacher(s) by providing educational services to assigned/enrolled students. The Teaching Assistant's duties involve: tutoring one-on-one sessions; facilitating small group sessions; correcting student homework, quizzes, and other class work; assisting in testing students; working with the teacher to assist with monitoring student progress; tracking program completions; assisting with tracking attendance and, other routine classroom duties. Limited Term 12 months; may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent.

Special Requirements The position(s) require(s) the ability to type at a minimum speed as designated on the Class Specifications (link available in the additional documentation section).
